The Gilshrat Channel was launched on YouTube back in 2006. The channel was a way for me to share my love of model trains, steam power, and history. Since creating the channel, I have made a host of different types of videos; product reviews, how to videos, places I’ve visited, and event coverage. In 2014, I became a member of the Jackson, Pontiac & St. Clair Model Railroad Club. At that time, I started making videos for the club and posting them to my channel. Those videos were eventually moved over to a new YouTube channel made specifically for the club. Most recently, I have moved to Japan to teach English. Since the move, this channel has begun focusing mostly on trains and model railroading in Japan. However, I'm still a huge Pennsy fan. In fact, I have been importing some Pennsy N scale trains from America. So you might still see a video or two about American trains.
